About the Foundation

Introduction

In January 2004, the founder Mr. Wu, Tung-Chin established the "Taiwan SKS Culture Art Foundation," with the goal of "enhancing the quality of cultural life and improving the environment for artistic development," providing the people with a truly good and beautiful environment.

Purpose

To engage in matters related to cultural and artistic affairs, promote arts and cultural education, facilitate international cultural exchange, enhance culture, cultivate talent, and organize educational, proper leisure, entertainment, and artistic activities.

Objective

With the goal of "enhancing the quality of cultural life and improving the environment for artistic development," supporting the development of local and international culture and arts, integrating societal resources to fulfill the mission of corporate giving back to society, and contributing more efforts to enhance Taiwan's artistic creativity and expand its international visibility.

Awards Record

Received the 9th Arts & Business Awards in 2008 and the 10th Arts & Business Awards in 2010.

Board of Director

The Board of Directors is composed of seven directors. The first term directors are appointed by the original donors, while the directors for subsequent terms are appointed by the previous Board of Directors (all directors serve without compensation).

Chairperson

The directors shall elect one among themselves as the Chairperson, who shall oversee the affairs of the association and represent it externally.

CEO

The association appoints one CEO who shall handle all affairs under the instructions of the Board of Directors and the Chairperson.

Accounting

The association handles financial management and accounting-related matters.

Association Affairs

The execution of the association's work plans and related matters.
