Robot research and development

SKS has been involved in robot research and development since 2004.

Hope to use smart automation technology

Assistive security, patrols, and other services that require a high level of manpower.

In the future, it will also continue to collaborate with industry and academia.

Develop service robots focused on individual home use as a new driving force for providing AIoT services.

SKS Number One

- 2004 / Enterprise use / Security & Navigation

Equipped with safety monitoring and disaster early warning functions. Reception services can be performed through touch screens and voice recognition systems. When someone approaches, it will greet them warmly, inquire about the needed services, or provide an introduction and information report. It can also detect intruders and disasters through the image recognition system and sensors.

SKS Number Two

- 2005 / Enterprise use / Security & Navigation

The system integration of environmental security robots can effectively replace high-risk or tedious and monotonous tasks to improve quality of life. It is equipped with a 360-degree panoramic surveillance system, which can be transmitted over the network to the monitoring center for surveillance. It also has an automatic tracking function that determines object movement based on the images captured by the camera and automatically turns the head towards the object for monitoring.

SKS Number Three

- 2006 / Enterprise use / Fixed-point patrol

By utilizing the concept of group stationary patrol robots and integrating with existing security systems, any situation in the environment can be fully controlled. In addition to having obstacle avoidance capabilities, fire detection is carried out using three indicators: smoke, flames, and high temperature. For burglar intrusions, identity verification can be performed by combining camera and network feedback systems to determine whether it's a criminal intruding.

SKS Number Four

- 2007 / Home use / Remote control

Applied in indoor locations, robots driven by two-wheel differential or via mobile wireless communication modules can move forward, backward, and turn. Automatically reverses when encountering an obstacle. The surveillance cameras can transmit images to users' mobile TELs via wireless communication modules.

SKS Number Five

- 2009 / Home use / Remote control

Allow users to easily control robot devices through a mobile phone and use voice recognition technology to issue voice commands remotely. This activates the robot's built-in multimedia programs to engage in entertainment communication and interaction with remote individuals, enabling the robot to fully integrate into home life. The aim is for home robots to possess more than just fixed, simple functions.

SKS Number Six

- 2010 / Home use / Remote control

Home safety, caregiving, information provision, household chores, entertainment services, and companionship are among the many functions. In terms of home safety, it includes home monitoring patrol, gas leak detection, and fire detection.

SKS Number Seven

- 2014 / School use / Traffic Safety Guide

Using the concept of a hand as the main axis of development makes it not just a mobile platform. The installation of a robotic arm gives the robot more mobility and the ability to express body language. This observation comes from noticing that when students go to and from school, parents often act as guides to block vehicles and protect the students crossing the street safely. However, if vehicles cannot brake in time, if there are errors in guidance, or if various unexpected situations arise, it will inevitably endanger the safety of the students.

SKS Number Eight

- 2015 / Robot Competition / Standard Shared Vehicle Platform

A standardized chassis specifically designed for robot competitions mandates that participants must use the shared platform to achieve a consistent participation foundation.

Shinbobo

- 2016 / Home use / Remote control

Use mobile phones, tablets, and PCs remotely through Shinbobo to always stay informed about the matters you care about.

Robot Competition

SKS actively collaborates across sectors with relevant associations and industries.

Since 2009, they have been organizing robot competitions, inviting colleges and universities from all over Taiwan to participate each year.

Through industry-academia exchanges, they discover domestic robotics talents and collectively enhance the technology and value of the robotics industry.
