SKS Debuts at 2025 Asia-Pacific Forum & Exposition for Sustainability, Highlighting "Empowering Sustainability × Social Well-being"

Publication Date:

SKS made its debut at the "2025 Asia-Pacific Forum & Exposition for Sustainability" hosted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), featuring a dedicated booth themed "Empowering Sustainability × Social Well-being." The Company showcased a diverse range of sustainable achievements, including smart technology, talent development, digital transformation, and green building management. On-site demonstrations of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and management systems, as well as hands-on AED training, garnered significant interest and received positive acclaim from attendees.

SKS stated that the Company actively promotes social well-being. Since 2007, it has held the “AN SHIN CLASSROOM” program for 18 consecutive years, fostering collaboration among communities, schools, and the public sector to enhance safety education in CPR and disaster prevention. As of 2024, the program has reached over 50,000 participants. The Company also partners with universities to promote education in remote areas, fostering intergenerational sustainable talent development.

In terms of food security and social care, SKS partners with local young farmers in Yilan and other communities to promote eco-friendly farming and sustainable innovation. By supporting organic cultivation, the Company contributes to soil restoration, safeguards clean water sources, and donates the harvested "Charity Rice" to disadvantaged groups, creating a model for mutual prosperity.

SKS showcased its BIM and building management systems at the event, utilizing Digital Twin technology to precisely simulate and optimize evacuation routes for emergencies such as fires and earthquakes. This markedly improves the efficiency of public safety management and empowers customers to monitor air quality and energy consumption. The solution not only improves the transparency and accuracy of ESG tracking but also helps stakeholders stay updated in real time, strengthening sustainable governance.

In addition, SKS has long been committed to enhancing public safety. Beyond its smart environmental monitoring systems, the Company has installed nearly 20,000 AEDs (automated external defibrillators) across Taiwan and has sponsored equipment for major sporting events like the Taipei Marathon. This exhibition featured the same AED model used at Expo 2025 Osaka, providing visitors with hands-on experience to learn its operation as a "life-saving tool." SKS believes that AEDs are not merely products but an essential part of corporate social responsibility. The Company also provides rigorous internal training to equip employees with first aid skills, striving to foster a safer social environment.

SKS views talent development as the cornerstone of sustainable growth. The Company has established its own "Corporate University" to build a systematic talent development system, comprising four specialized academies: Sales, Technology, Management, and Sustainability. Through competency mapping, blended learning, and an internal instructor system, SKS passes on intergenerational experience and professional expertise. At the same time, the Company promotes the "Human Capital Digital Empowerment Program," fully implementing knowledge sharing and organizational innovation. SKS was honored with the "2024 Digital Transformation Dingge Award" by Harvard Business Review and maintains international certifications including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001.
