SKS Joins Friendly SEED Podcast to Discuss Sustainability Impact
Publication Date:
From safeguarding personal and property security to caring for land, ecosystems, and marine environments, Shin Kong Security (SKS) has long embraced “protection” as a core corporate value. Over the years, this commitment has expanded beyond security to include sustainable development and environmental conservation. Invited by Friendly SEED, SKS recently joined the Ideas Into Action podcast, with Hsiao-Yi Chen (Teacher Orange), Manager of the Corporate Communications and Planning Department, as a guest speaker. During the interview, she shared SKS’s journey of engaging in public-interest and sustainability initiatives over the years, as well as how hands-on participation has gradually strengthened the company’s efforts to protect nature.
Centered on “Education, Sustainability, and Change,” Ideas Into Action features in-depth conversations with companies and changemakers, exploring how ideas can be translated into everyday actions for sustainability. During the episode, SKS also reflected on its sustainability journey, which began with public-interest initiatives and has since expanded to include farmland ecosystems, biodiversity, solitary bee conservation, and coral restoration through biochar.
